Create a Local Installation

You need to install Apache, IIS, PHP, MySQL web server on local machine.

APACHE – You have to install XAMPP for web based Joomla.

IIS – For IIS just install the Windows Web Platform.

VERSIONS

Joomla (1.0.0) was released on September 16, 2005 which was a re-branded release of MAMBO 4.5.2.3. Installation

Install via admin panel

2. Click Extension < Install/ Uninstall

Install via FTP

To install on your PC just select the template folder and upload it to your server, using FTP software.
